Bar Somnus 2P is intended for use in healthy cattle to aid in the prevention of diseases caused by Haemophilus somnus and Pasteurella haemolytica and multocida.

The recommended dosage is 2 ml administered intramuscularly (IM), with a repetition of the vaccination in 21 days. Annual revaccination is advised to sustain protective immunity. Calves vaccinated before reaching 6 months of age should receive a revaccination after reaching 6 months. Importantly, there is no milk withdrawal period associated with this vaccine, but a 21-day withdrawal period before slaughter is recommended after vaccination.
