Bar-Vac® 8 is a vaccination designed for the immunization of healthy and vulnerable cattle and sheep against diseases caused by various strains of Clostridium bacteria, including Clostridium chauvoei, Cl. septicum, Cl. haemolyticum, Cl. novyi, Cl. sordellii, and Cl. perfringens Types C and D. The combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon) fractions aims to provide immunity against the beta and epsilon toxins produced by Clostridium perfringens Type B as well. A 21-day withdrawal period is recommended after administration.

Indications: For the prevention of Blackleg, Enterotoxemia, Malignant edema, Black disease, Gas-gangrene, and Red water in cattle and sheep.

Dosage and Administration: Cattle- Administer 5 ml Bar-Vac® 8 Subcutaneous and repeat in 3-4 weeks Sheep- Administer 2.5 ml Bar-Vac® 8 and repeat in 3-4 weeks.
