VITAL E®-500 is a clear, sterile, non-aqueous solution of vitamin E. This product is intended as a supplemental source of vitamin E. Each ml contains: 500 International Units (I.U.) vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopherol, a natural source of vitamin E), compounded with 18% ethyl alcohol and 1% benzyl alcohol (preservative) in an emulsifiable base. Natural tocopherols in feedstuffs can be destroyed through processing, ensiling, and storage. A reduced vitamin E intake can result in marginal deficiencies that may not be visible. Newborns are born with low vitamin E status and depend upon colostrum for vitamin E, provided the dam has consumed adequate vitamin E during gestation. Intramuscular or subcutaneous injections offer an efficient and rapid method to increase vitamin E status of animals.

Dosage: CATTLE: Cows and Heifers 5-6ml, Calves At Birth 2-3ml, At Weaning 3-4ml, Yearlings 4-5ml
